Clash at the top of the table

With two rounds having been completed in the Empangeni Bowling Club’s Two Bowl Trips tournament, six teams remain unbeaten - and likewise six teams are yet to break their duck. Things, however, are destined to change quite dramatically this Thursday when top of the table Byron Mathias clashes with Dion Leaity, Mike Kay-Hards takes on Sharon Nicoll and Lyn Coetzer locks horns with Wayne Mathias. Last week’s session prize, which was sponsored by Leomat, was won by Mike Lovell, Steve Oberholzer and Laurie Smith. This weekend, the following Zululand players will be testing their skills in the KZN Masters tournament in Newcastle - Ronell Greef (RBY), Rita Meyer (EBC), Sharon Nicoll (EBC), Yvonne Steenkamp (EBC), Mike Bowman (ESH), Dion Leaity (RBY) and Barry Mutlow (RBY).
