Boys find body in torched wreck

The burnt out car belonging to Councillor Bheka Mthiyane who was reported missing last Friday
Young boys playing in the veld in an isolated area in the Ndaya Reserve outside Esikhawini made a gruesome discovery on Monday.
They stumbled upon a burnt-out Toyota Corolla containing the burnt remains of a human body.
The incident was reported to police at Esikhawini and it was determined that the car belonged to Port Durnford Ward 18 Councillor, Bheka Mthiyane (52).
Mthiyane was reported missing on Friday, 19 February.
Police still need to conduct forensic testing to establish if the remains are indeed that of Cllr Mthiyane.
According to family members he has been missing for about a week.
