The 2010 soccer field at the Regional Sports Complex in Richards Bay is now covered with a plush layer of grass. Grass for Africa were appointed to carry out the installation according to strict FIFA specs and 10 000m2 of Paspalum turf was grown at Empangeni, transported and laid over the past week. The field will be maintained by Grass for Africa in anticipation of hosting Nigeria for three weeks prior to the World Cup tournament.
