An army of runners and walkers invaded the streets of Meerensee for the 24th annual Mondi 21, hosted by Canon Richards Bay Athletics Club on Sunday. The hosts celebrated winning the men and women’s 21km race -Muhle Mkhwanazi in 01.12.07 and Simone Scrase in 01.38.32. Bernard Phalatse of Nedbank crossed the finish line first in the men’s 10km run in 32.34, while Nomcebo Mthethwa of the uMhlathuze Athletics Club was victorious in the women’s in 45.15
