The organisers of the SATIB Hluhluwe Rhino Charge, the third leg of the Zululand Big 5 Mountain Bike Series, deserve a huge pat on the back for a fantastic turnout of entrants on Sunday morning. Bradley Schuit outdid the local riders in the 50km Classic, winning in a brisk 01.57.00. Another visitor, Jean Hackland, won the women’s race in 02.13.00. The locals fared better in the 25km Intermediate, with Leon Ackerman winning the men’s race in 01.09.00 and Marietjie Lotz the women’s in 01.21.00.
