Sport fanatics can look forward to an exciting new indoor soccer and volleyball arena to be opened soon. Brackenham resident Viveshen Munsamy has invested over R180 000 in this much needed project. The Hosanna Indoor Sport Centre will be open for all age groups and teams to play indoor soccer and volleyball. Hopefully this will unite the youth especially on the sport courts instead of the streets. There will also be a fast food takeaway and seating area for people to relax and enjoy the matches. ‘As far as possible a minimal fee will be charged to enjoy the facilities. ‘There are also some charity ideas on the table in order to give back to the community. ‘These include allowing youth groups and underprivileged children to come and use the facilities free of charge,’ said Munsamy. The building in Ceramic Curve, Alton, has been under construction for over a month. The nets were recently put up and all that is left to do is the flooring and a few other minor details. Despite setbacks causing delays, Munsamy and his team are rolling forward with the plans and are pushing to open the Centre this week.
