CONGRATULATIONS to the NCR women golfers for top results in the Open and Closed Strokeplay Championships at the Empangeni Country Club.
Nichole Martyn of the Richards Bay Country Club not only won the gross standing for the day, but also took the best overall nett in the closed B division on day one.
The closed C division title was decided by a play-off between Empangeni’s Debbie van der Merwe and Kwambo’s Debbie Daspher, with Van der Merwe clinching it.
On day two, Martyn, with partner Ursula Howarth, recorded the best gross of the day in the Open Foursomes Championships.
